HOOVER, AL (WAFB) - With thunderstorms roaring outside the Wynfrey Hotel and a tornado warning issued for the Birmingham area, Arkansas coach John L. Williams and his players were asked to recap the stormy off-season for the Razorbacks.
"Our destiny is up to us," running back Knile Davis began in response to the off-season scandal that rocked the program and cost Bobby Petrino his job. "I wasn't angry, I was shocked," said Davis, who went on to say he's fully recovered from the knee injury that sidelined him last season.
Williams says quarterback Tyler Wilson "exudes confidence" and Amite's Brandon Mitchell is getting a look at wide receiver now.
Davis says he's extremely excited that the season finale against LSU will be on campus in Fayetteville this year.
