Another Tiger makes Watch List - WAFB 9 News Baton Rouge, Louisiana News, Weather, Sports

BETHPAGE, N.Y. - The preseason watch list week continued today with the release of the  Nassau County Sports Commission's 2012 John Mackey Award Preseason Watch List. The award is given annually to the most outstanding collegiate tight end.

LSU senior Tight End Chase Clement has been named to the watch list. The Thibodaux, LA native and two year starter for the Tigers has nine career catches for 138 yards and one touchdown.

Clement is joined by six other SEC Tight Ends on the list, including Arkansas' Chris Gragg, Mississippi State's Malcolm Johnson, Auburn's Philip Lutzenkirchen, Florida's Jordan Reed, Tennessee's Mychal Rivera and Alabama's Michael Williams.

The 2012 John Mackey winner will be presented live on December 6, 2012 at The Home Depot College Football Awards Red Carpet Show: 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
