The Baton Rouge Police Department reported Chattley Chesterfield, 17, is wanted for first-degree murder in the shooting death of Jordan Key, 18.

Key and a surviving victim were shot in the 3000 block of College Drive early Saturday morning.

Chesterfield is 6'0" and weighs 150 pounds.

In addition to murder, he faces charges of attempted first-degree murder and illegal use of a dangerous weapon.

Francois was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of accessory to first-degree murder and accessory to attempted murder.

According to BRPD, officers were dispatched to the 4500 block of Rabey Street near College Drive around 2:30 a.m. after reports of gunshots fired in that area.

After arriving on the scene they were told a man had been shot and he left the area in a vehicle. Officers were later told the car was on Perkins Road and South Acadian Thruway.

When they located the car they found Key dead inside and another man who had suffered a gunshot wound that was not considered life-threatening. There is no known motive for this shooting.
