Former Microsoft Engineer and Former Apple Product Manager collaborate to design a Glove-Based 3D Motion Sensor System that Analyzes and Records Golf Swing Data on your Mobile Device

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) June 27, 2012

Zepp Technology announces the launch of GolfSense, the world's first portable 3D sensor system that delivers real-time feedback and analysis of your golf swing to your mobile device. The GolfSense patented, high velocity, motion engine uses data from 4 discrete MEMS sensors inside a lightweight, glove-worn device to accurately calculate club speed, club position, swing tempo and swing path. The device pairs with a free mobile app that allows you to analyze and compare swings on your iPhone ®, iPad® or iPod touch®.

“In many sports, technique is key to success,” says Zepp Technology CEO Jason Fass. “GolfSense provides immediate feedback, allowing you to finely tune your golf swing for maximum results. While it’s impossible to replace hands-on instruction from a skilled professional, GolfSense is an excellent diagnostic tool to be used in conjunction with your instructor or when practicing on your own. Our goal was to create something that is easy to use and allows you to see an analysis of your swing like never before.”

Zepp Technology, the parent company of GolfSense, specializes in delivering sport specific products using real-time motion sensor data combined with engaging mobile applications. Founder Robin Han and Jason Fass both have backgrounds rooted deep in technology; Han as a software and sensor design engineer for Microsoft Asia and Fass as a former Apple product manager.

GolfSense can be purchased online at GolfSense.me or in stores at Apple and Best Buy retail locations within the United States. The free GolfSense mobile app can be downloaded from the App Store ?.
