DENHAM SPRINGS, LA (WAFB) -
Four people were taken into custody on drug charges after the search of a home turned up over 30 lbs. of marijuana Wednesday evening.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office arrested Anna Vaughn, 33, Corey Vaughn, 35, Michael Jones Jr., 43, and Jeanette White, 37. All four lived at a home on Spur Road in Denham Springs. Deputies said they also found two handguns, 8,450 in cash and packaging material used to help distribute the drugs.
The Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services was called because there was a 15-year-old living in the home.
Chief Criminal Deputy Jason Ard said the bust was the result of a long investigation by the sheriff's department.
