Equipment stolen from snowball stand overnight

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Equipment was stolen from King Cones, a snowball stand in Baton Rouge overnight.

Mark Bushnell, owner of the stand on the corner of Airline and Old Hammond, said nearly everything was stolen including two snowball machines, a nut roaster, one freezer and a generator.

Syrup bottles and a sign that goes outside the stand was taken as well.

"You just put a lot of work and sacrifice and time into trying to juggle things and take care of business," Bushnell said. "For somebody to take it away, it hurts."

Bushnell says the estimated cost of the stolen equipment is $8,000-$9,000.

If you have any information on who may responsible for the thefts, please contact Crime Stoppers at 225-344-STOP.
