LAFAYETTE, LA (WAFB) -
A private
investigator for the family of a missing college student said he has two leads
into her disappearance.
John
Abdella is investigating the case of Mickey Shunick, 22, a UL-Lafayette student
last seen nearly three weeks ago.
Abdella
said he has the descriptions of two people he thinks are involved in Shunick's
disappearance.
She was
last seen riding her bicycle through downtown Lafayette.
"What
shocked me was these two individuals, two different confidential informants
don't even know each other and they gave me almost an identical description of
two people," Abdella said.
The
Lafayette Police Department said while it is not working directly with Abdella,
detectives are following up on any leads that come their way.
