LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) -
Lafayette Police have narrowed their search for drivers in the area where a missing Lafayette woman showed up on video early May 19.
A news release Wednesday said investigators have spoken with drivers and occupants of two of the three vehicles shown on the video showing 21-year-old Michaela "Mickey" Shunick riding her bicycle. Cpl. Paul Mouton says nobody in a car or a pickup truck with a bed cover had information about or connection to the case.
Investigators are still looking for information about a newer model, four-door, white Chevrolet Z-71 pickup truck that was heading the same direction as Shunick.
Mouton said in an email that Lafayette police have not yet heard from Louisiana State Police Crime Lab experts who are studying Shunick's bicycle for clues.
