LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Now that summer break is underway for JCPS students, parents are struggling with ways to keep their children occupied.
Metro Animal Services wants parents still considering summer programs for their children to know openings are available for Animal Adventures Humane Summer Camp.
The three-day camp will cover everything children need or want to know about animal safety, animal occupations, and being a responsible pet owner, according to a news release.
The camp dates are June 26 to 28, July 16 to 18 and August 1 to 3. The three-hour, three-day camps will be held at the Animal House Adoption Center on Newburg Road.

Registration continues until June 8 for Metro Parks Summer Camps. The programs begin June 8 and conclude July 27. The cost is $95 per child, per week. Click here to learn more or to sign up your child.
