Tropical Depression Beryl continues up SC coast

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Tropical Depression Beryl is making its way out of the Lowcountry on Wednesday morning.

A flash flood watch for much of the Lowcountry ended at 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Live 5 Chief Meteorologist says the rain will continue through the morning but should make way for sunshine and the temperature should creep up to the high 80s in the afternoon.

All Tropical Storm Warnings were canceled by the National Weather Service after Beryl weakened to a tropical depression on Monday.

Gusty winds and rip currents have been prevalent among South Carolina and Georgia beaches.
