Directions
Spray inside of your 6 quart slow cooker with vegetable spray or use slow cooker liner. Remove inner skin from ribs. (step not necessary if you buy them at Busch's. They're already removed)
Rub the ribs with Col De butt rub. In a small mixing bowl, mix brown sugar, pepper, liquid smoke, garlic and salt. Brush this mixture on top of the rub. Cut ribs into 4 inch pieces. Place ribs on bottom of slow cooker with onions on top. Pour cola over ribs. Cook on low heat setting 8 to 9 hours or until tender. (I did 8 hours) Remove ribs and discard liquid. Sprinkle more butt rub onto ribs and put on grill for about 15 minutes.
