Tigers pick up commitment from big time quarterback

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

According to Derek Ponamsky LSU has picked up a much needed and highly touted quarterback.

Hayden Rettig, a 4-star recruit from Los Angeles, picked LSU over Arizona, Arizona State, Auburn, Boston College, Cal, Miami, Rutgers, UCLA, Vanderbilt and more.

Rivals has the 6'3", 210 pound Rettig rated as the number 5 Pro style quarterback in the country.

The breakdown on Rettig: possesses good size for the quarterback position and has the arm to get the ball where it needs to go, but also shows some anticipation.

Rettig is LSU's 11th commitment of the 2013 class.
