Southern's All-SWAC pitcher Jose de Leon gave up seven hits and recorded a shutout as the Jaguars beat Grambling 8-0 to advance in the SWAC Tournament.

The Tigers committed seven errors in their defeat to Southern. Grambling has been eliminated from the tournament.

Southern advances to a matchup tomorrow morning at 9AM with the winner of today's Alcorn State vs. Mississippi Valley game.
