HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
It was quite a change of pace for Duane 'Dog' Chapman Tuesday. Instead of catching bad guys, he caught up with a good guy and made a wish come true.
Duane Chapman and his wife Beth met 8-year-old Logan at their bail bonds office in Honolulu.
Logan suffers from a congenital heart defect. The Make-a-Wish foundation flew Logan and his family to Hawaii all the way from Illinois just to meet the Chapmans.
Needless to say he's a huge fan of the hit television show.
"I am very very excited for Logan, as his dad said he has aspired to be like Dog, he loves Dog, he is just absolutely 100% a Dog fan, to a point where he is upset when we don't tape it every Wednesday night, because he had to go to bed," said Logan's mother Brandi.
During Tuesday's meeting 'Dog' helped Logan 'catch' a wanted fugitive. Logan was all smiles while cuffing the 'accused' criminal.
Logan's parents say he's already had multiple surgeries. It was after his last procedure that he decided his wish would be to meet the dog.
Duane and Beth Chapman have met with other children through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
