Crash on Mississippi River Bridge creates delays

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A crash on I-10 East on the Mississippi River Bridge caused traffic backups for drivers headed into Baton Rouge Monday morning.

The wreck happened around 6:45 a.m.

The Baton Rouge Traffic Center reported the accident forced the closure of the right lane.

The crash was cleared around 7:35 a.m.

Drivers passing by the wreck indicated it involved a motorcycle and a car.

It is unknown if there were any injuries.
