CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -
A 19 Exclusive Investigation has prompted the Ohio Attorney General's Office to file a massive lawsuit against a local man -- and his company.
Steven Sigman is accused of ripping off investors from around the world.
Sigman, the owner of an investment web site called Company Express, is believed to owe hundreds of clients guaranteed refunds totaling more than a 1/4 million bucks.
19 Action News Investigative Reporter Scott Taylor found complaints from the U.S., Italy and Hungary. Some say partial refunds were paid out but hundreds of clients are still owed refunds.
Sigman and Company Express haven't been found guilty of anything but if Attorney General Mike Dewine gets his way -- Sigman will be facing a $4.2 million fine and barred from operating an investment on-line business again.
