
Source: Zimbio.comA source tells 9Sports that Murray State head basketball coach Steve Prohm has to talked to LSU about their head coaching vacancy. But according to LSU, Prohm is not a candidate for the job.
Prohm has been at Murray State since 2006 serving as an assistant coach and head coach. The 2011 season was his first year as the Racers head coach, where he lead them to a 31-2 mark, and a trip to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Prohm has Louisiana ties, serving as an assistant coach for three different schools in the state. He got his coaching career started at centenary as an assistant from 1998-1999. He held the same position at Southeastern and Tulane from 1999-2006.
