District Court Judge for 3 parishes on ballot this weekend

(WAFB) - Voters in Ascension, St. James and Assumption Parishes will decide on a new District Court Judge this weekend.

Jessie LeBlanc and Matthew Pryor are both trying to grab the job on the bench for Division D. The current judge that the 23rd District seat has been appointed to federal judgeship.

A third person, Chuck Long, dropped out of the race, but his name will still be on the ballot Saturday because he did not quit before the ballot deadline.
