High water levels close waterways in Livingston Parish

LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (WAFB) -

All waterways south of I-12 in Livingston Parish closed at Noon on Thursday and will stay closed through Sunday.

The Office of Emergency Preparedness says rising waters from a higher than normal water levels are the cause of the closure.

This waterway closure covers the Tickfaw, the Blood and the Amite Rivers.
