JACKSON, LA (WAFB) - A scabies outbreak will delay state-mandated testing at two schools in East Feliciana.
13 students at Jackson Elementary and 3 kids at East Feliciana High School have been diagnosed with the disease.
Testing at Jackson Elementary and East Feliciana High School will be pushed back.
Students at East Feliciana Middle School will take their tests as scheduled on March 20th.
Parents were notified on Tuesday of the outbreak.
Maintenance crews will be working over the weekend to disinfect the entire complex.
