Bounty hunters indicted for shooting

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Bounty hunters accused of shooting a woman in her home will face charges.

Demarcus McKnight and Anthony Thomas were indicted Thursday by the East Baton Rouge Grand Jury for the October 2011 incident.

At the time, deputies said the men were at the back of a house on Ridgewood Dr. to allegedly apprehend a fugitive in the early morning hours of October 4th.

Detectives think Thomas opened a cracked window and McKnight pointed a gun inside.  When the victim walked to the window, a shot was fired and she was hit in the face.

McKnight has been indicted for illegal use of a weapon, unauthorized entry into an inhabited dwelling and aggravated burglary.

Thomas has been indicted for unauthorized entry into an inhabited dwelling.
