St. Helena official cleared of wrongdoing

ST. HELENA PARISH, LA (WAFB) -

A St. Helena Parish leader accused of stealing an ATV and car parts has been cleared of any wrongdoing.

Police Jury President Frank Johnson Sr. was arrested in October 2011 after deputies say they found a stolen car motor and a 4-wheeler at his home.

At the time, Johnson told 9 News it was all a misunderstanding.

9 News received a letter from the State Attorney General's Office Wednesday, exonerating Mr. Johnson of any wrongdoing.
