Suspects stole $500 worth of shelled pecans

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office is searching for two men who they believe stole $500 worth of shelled pecans from Fresh Pickins on Coursey Blvd.

The theft took place Saturday, March 3 around 1:30 p.m.

According to reports, two males entered the store and loaded the pecans into shopping carts and left the store.

The first suspect is described as a black male and the second suspect is described as a white male. They were last seen in a white van. This is all of the information provided from the Sheriff's Office.
