Another 18-wheeler accident on I-12 shut down the interstate for hours today, causing headaches for commuters. DOTD held a meeting today to discuss new safety measures for the interstate. WAFB Tyana Williams was at the meeting and will have details on what was discussed on 9news at 5 and 6.

Deadly Illinois tornado was an EF4

Financial report

The Dow is ending down 54 points at 12,952. On Tuesday, it closed above 13,000 for the first time since the 2008 financial crisis. The Standard & Poor's 500 index is closing down seven points at 1,366. The Nasdaq didn't hold 3,000 for long. It's finishing the day down 20 at 2,967.


Expect very similar weather over the rest of the work week. We will start warm and muggy with some patchy to dense fog. We keep iso'd to sct'd showers in the forecast today through Friday. Late Friday into early Saturday our next front will push through the area creating likely showers and storms.
