Firefighters were called out for a two-alarm house fire early Thursday morning.

According to the Central Fire Department, the fire sparked at a home in the 10000 block of Lovett Road in Central around 4:45 a.m.

Lovett was closed for a while between Joor Road and Hooper Road due to the blaze, but was reopened around 7:45 a.m.

Officials said even after the fire was under control, crews remained on the scene putting out hot spots.

No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.

Firemen from the Pride and District 6 fire departments responded to assist.
