ST. MARTINVILLE, LA (WAFB) -
Two men have been arrested for a series of camp burglaries, as well as kidnapping one of the men's ex-wife.
Tracey Lee Burgess, 45, and Steven Paul Thibodeaux, 23, are accused of kidnapping Burgess' wife and holding her against her will for several days, as well as burglarizing 13 camps in the Atchafalaya Basin.
Investigators say the ex-wife was present at several of the burglaries and sustained minor injuries while she was held captive.
Both men have been charged with 13 counts of criminal trespassing, 13 counts of simple burglary and one count of second degree kidnapping.
