Two men are behind bars after an online sting operation by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office.
Detectives say Gregory Stelly, 54, was taken into custody after he allegedly initiated a sexually explicit conversation and inappropriate contact with someone he thought was a child. The Sunset resident has been charged with indecent behavior with juveniles and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
Steven Nauck Jr. of Hammond was arrested after allegedly arranging to meet what he thought was a child for sexual contact. Nauck was already on parole for unrelated convictions. He has been charged with computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
The operation also served as a training session for officers new to internet investigations.
