A roof collapse at a Baton Rouge car wash sent two people to a hospital Monday afternoon.
Part of the roof at Big Baby'z Car Wash on Government Street at 17th Street collapsed just before 3 p.m. while a man and a woman were talking underneath it.
"They are just friends of the owner and were here hanging out," said one witness who did not want to give his name.
The extent of the injuries was not immediately clear.
The underside of the roof separated from two-by-fours and fell. The portion of the roof that fell was crumpled onto the concrete near the front door to the business.
