NEW ORLEANS, LA (WAFB) -
Police have
arrested the fourth and final man they were looking for after a shootout with
authorities in which the suspects ran toward a school.
The New
Orleans Police Department evacuated Medard Nelson Elementary School in Gentilly
while officers chased after the four armed men.
It all
started when one of the men fired shots at an officer and a chase followed.
Two of the
suspects jumped the fence at the school, but third was unable to.
Officers
arrested them and recovered a semi-automatic handgun.
Members of NOPD SWAT set up near an elementary school after four suspects got into a shootout with police.
