BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A former high school star football player, who had committed to LSU but was arrested on a sexual assault charge last year, pleaded guilty to a lesser charge Friday morning.
Former Redemptorist High running back Jeremy Hill, 19, pleaded guilty to carnal knowledge of a juvenile, which is a misdemeanor.
He was originally charged with oral sexual battery.
The judge sentenced Hill to two years probation.
He was arrested on Jan. 12, 2011.
According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, Hill and another student, Avery Tate II, pressured a 14-year-old girl to perform oral sex.
