Cyreia anchors THE News at Daybreak, Monday through Friday, 4:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. In addition to anchoring the morning show, Cyreia contributes special project reports and consumer reports that are seen on THE News Live at 5 and THE News at 6. Cyreia also has a "Family Finance" franchise where she produces weekly segments that provide tips and advice on how to stretch your dollar. Cyreia also co-hosts "Tailgatin' with WTOC," a weekly Friday college football show that airs every Friday night during football season at 7:30 p.m.
Cyreia came to Savannah as an anchor and reporter in September of 2011. She spent three years anchoring WFXG Fox 54 News at 10, a show that is produced in Savannah at the WTOC studios, and broadcast in the Augusta market. She also reported from the WTOC Live Desk for THE News Now at 4, Live at 5, and THE News at 6.
Before coming to Savannah, Cyreia spent a summer in New York City at NBC News as an International Radio Television Society Fellow. While attending the University of Missouri, Cyreia reported and anchored for the NBC affiliate, KOMU-8. She also anchored for Newsy videos, a multi-platform news content website and app. Cyreia also spent four months in Brussels, Belgium, studying and working for Thomson Reuters Television News. Cyreia got her first break in the journalism industry as an on-air intern at 25 WEEK/HOI 19 News in Peoria, IL.
Cyreia was born in Ohio and raised in Bloomington, IL. She spent four wonderful years at the University of Missouri. She graduated from the Honors College and the School of Journalism.
In her spare time, Cyreia is active in the Junior League of Savannah. She also volunteers at the Children's Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center.
