Cream
together:
½ cup butter 1
tsp. vanilla
½ cup
shortening 1 egg
1 cup sugar
Then add:
2 ½ cups
flour 1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. soda
Blend in:
2 Tbsp. milk
Place
teaspoonfuls of mixture onto a greased cookie sheet. Flatten teaspoonfuls to the
shape of round cookies. Sprinkle sugar over tops of cookies (green and red
sprinkles may be added for holiday décor). Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12
minutes.
