Can you imagine what it would be like for a child to wake up on Christmas morning without presents to unwrap? For many in our community, it's a reality. That's why WAFB is teaming up with some powerful partners to make a difference for hundreds of children.

Last year, our Salvation Army Angel Tree program provided gifts for more than 1,200 children. This year, the need is even greater. If you want to help, stop by any area Capitol One and pick up an angel ornament. But, you need to hurry. You have until Dec. 14 to get your toys in so that they can be distributed in time for Christmas.

Toys for Tots is another opportunity for you to be a personal Santa. You can drop off your unwrapped toys at any area Walmart or WAFB (844 Government St.). We know people are busy this time of year and we know that this is a very generous community. Please help us make the holidays a little brighter for area family is in need.

And, from all of us at WAFB, we wish you a safe and happy holiday season.
