Pepper Jack Shrimp from Boutin's January 28, 2004 at 2:45 PM CST - Updated June 26 at 1:23 AM INGREDIENTS Louisiana Shrimp (Peeled, deheaded, deveined) Tasso Bacon Flour Bread Crumbs Milk and Egg Batter Pepper Jack Cheese PROCEDURE Cut tasso and cheese into bite size strips. Cut bacon into half pieces. Mix flour and bread crumbs. Leave a little flour separate. Make milk wash. Stack cheese and tasso on shrimp. Wrap with bacon pieces and hold in place with toothpicks. Coat with flour, then milk, then breadcrumbs mixture. Deep fry in 350 degree oil for about 4-6 minutes.
