BATON ROUGE, LA (AP) - Morris Claiborne says he's been happy to keep quiet and play in the shadows of more flamboyant LSU cornerbacks. He has no catchy nickname but leads the team in interceptions again. He has matched last season's total of five with the SEC title game against Georgia on Saturday and a bowl game still to play.

WESTWEGO, LA (AP) - Chris Paul is in New Orleans and working out with Hornets teammates and says his focus is purely on being with current teammates and getting ready to play for New Orleans this season. He has been subject of trade talk because he can opt out of his contract after this season.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A Hammond man has been charged with operating an illegal sports betting business. A federal court filing Thursday in New Orleans also charges Joseph A. Schillace IV, 51, with tax evasion for allegedly failing to report nearly $250,000 in taxable income in 2006.

BATON ROUGE, LA (AP) - Louisiana taxpayers are owed $1.3 million in undelivered tax refunds The Internal Revenue Service is looking to return the money to the nearly 1,400 Louisiana taxpayers who are due refund checks this year that could not be delivered because of mailing address errors.

BAY CITY, TX (AP) - Police say a Texas woman whose husband shot her and their four children had stayed in a shelter after a domestic assault, but the woman refused to press charges. On Wednesday, police in Bay City say the husband shot his wife three times, critically injuring her, and then he turned on the children before killing himself. Two children died Wednesday, and the other two died Thursday.

ATLANTA (AP) - Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain is expected back in his home state of Georgia Friday after a campaign stop in South Carolina. Cain says said he needs to talk face-to-face with his wife before he decides whether to continue with his campaign. A Georgia woman who says she had a 13-year affair with Cain told MSNBC in an interview that she's "deeply sorry" for causing Cain's family any pain.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (AP) - Florida officials say as soon as they locate the 5-year-old son of country singer Mindy McCready they'll return him to his grandmother's custody. McCready says she has the boy in Tennessee and can't travel because she pregnant with twins. McCready, who's had a history of drug abuse, has had a long battle with her mother over custody of the boy.

TOKYO (AP) - Honda is expanding a worldwide air-bag recall blamed for 20 accidents and two deaths in the U.S. in 2009. The recall adds some 273,000 Accords, Civics, Odysseys and other models to a list that now covers some 2 million vehicles. Honda says the air-bags may inflate with too much pressure in a crash, sending metal and plastic pieces flying.
