You never would have seen this when you were a kid.  A 12th grader from Woodlawn High School was hauled off by deputies after they say she beat up her bus driver. It would have been worse had not several other students pulled the attacker off the driver.   Details on 9NEWS at 6.

A special out-of-session group of  legislators has approved selling the naming rights of the Superdome to Mercedes Benz.   Many thought the deal already had been done but it still needed formal approval.   It should save the state from having to pay the Saints as much as $10-million a year.
