Tweet suggests Mathieu will play against Bama

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

A tweet sent out by LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu suggests he thinks he will be taking the field when the Tigers face Alabama.

Mathieu posted the following message on Twitter:

"Nov5th!!!!!!! I make it rough on the opposition"

A decision has not been officially announced by the university on the status of Mathieu and two other players suspended for the Auburn game due to a reported failed drug test.

Running back Spencer Ware and cornerback Tharold Simon were also sidelined this past Saturday.

No. 1 LSU will take on No. 2 Alabama on Nov. 5 in Tuscaloosa, AL.
