Last year's LSU-Florida game was probably one of the more exciting contests on the schedule, next to the Tennessee game.
Both teams were going back and forth, with Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee each contributing a couple of touchdowns.
Jefferson reached pay dirt twice with his legs, while Lee did his work through the air.
And, it was the last-second touchdown pass from Lee to Terrance Tolliver that gave the Tigers the 33-29 win in "The Swamp."
"I had some big plays against them last year," Lee said. "In '09, didn't play against them, then in '08, not so good, so both sides of the track."
The final drive of the game was kept alive by a fake field goal call by head coach Les Miles.
Then, Lee stepped up big and delivered the 3-yard TD toss with just :06 left on the clock.
Miles remembered Lee's play in the game when talking about the upcoming one.
"Jarrett Lee comes in in two different spots in the game, one just before the half and leads to 10 points and certainly, the game-winning touchdown on the back end," Miles said. "Those are certainly pleasant memories that I have of that game."
LSU is coming off a 35-7 win over Kentucky, while the Gators fell to Alabama 38-10.
Florida head coach Will Muschamp said quarterback John Brantley will not play Saturday due to an injury suffered in the game against the Crimson Tide.
Kickoff between No. 1 LSU and No. 17 Florida is scheduled for 2:39 p.m. on WAFB.
