CLIFTON, OH (FOX19) -
The new owner of the former Keller's IGA in Clifton announced plans for a renovated market-style grocery store Wednesday.
Goessling's Market will be located at 319 Ludlow Avenue.
The store's architect discussed the renovation plans, which include gutting the inside of the existing grocery, exposing the tin ceiling in the front of the store, all new air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and new lighting as well as refurbishing the exterior. The project is LEED certified.
Goessling says features of the grocery store will include fresh meats and seafood, organic produce, wine, beer and a selection of prepared food.
The store is expected to reopen in January and employ 50 workers. Applications for employment are being accepting and are available at www.goesslings.com.
