Cook veggies and chicken base in butter until very soft. Add whipping cream, heat on low until hot. Add crab meat, heat 5 minutes longer. Remove from heat. Add bread crumbs slowly stirring to prevent lumps, until desired thickness.
Note: Sauce will thicken as it sits.
Take 1/2 of the creamy crab topping and add 1 10 oz can of cream of mushroom soup, 4 slices of Swiss cheese, 4 slices of American cheese. Add more bread crumbs if needed. Microwave until hot. Top with shredded pepper jack cheese.
