Elizabeth Quinn's Spinach-Artichoke Casserole

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup butter or margarine softened
1-3oz package of cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon of salt
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 all purpose flour
3 tablespoons of butter
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon dried basil leaves
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1-14oz can artichoke heard drained and chopped
1-10oz package of frozen spinach thawed and drained
2 cups of shredded swiss cheese
1 1/2 cups finely chopped onions
Combine all four ingredients together in a medium bowl. Press into the bottom and sides of a 9"x13" glass dish. Prick bottom with fork. Bake for 10 minute, remove from oven
Mix first nine ingredients in a large bowl with an electric mixer, mix well. Stir in remaning four ingredients. Pour into crust. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until center is set. Serve hot, serves 12
