PHIL CAMPBELL, AL (WAFF) After days of making sure Alabamians are safe and accounted for, officials have released the most recent numbers concerning missing individuals following Wednesday's string of fatal tornadoes.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation states in a press release distributed Tuesday afternoon that four residents of the Phil Campbell area remain unaccounted for. The names, released by the FBI, are below:
Kyle Borden
Carolyn Carter
Tialeane Linley
Angelleah Morrow
Following the devastating storms that hit Alabama on April 27, 202 residents of the Phil Campbell area were first reported missing, with only four being named now. A total of 26 Phil Campbell residents were killed in the storms.
Hackleburg, AL was also hard hit by the severe storms with five people still unaccounted for. The FBI says the following residents are missing:
Garner Baker
Jordan Roark
Andrew Taylor
Nell Taylor
Paul Taylor
Terry Witt
The FBI first reported 332 Hackleburg residents were missing, with five the only unaccounted for at this point. Eighteen residents of the area died in the tragedy.
