The NFL lockout has essentially put a damper on everything for teams. No signing free agents and trading for players. No practicing at team facilities or contact with coaches. The New Orleans Saints have decided to be proactive with this situation. Several players will get together Tuesday to organize their own workouts. This movement is being spearheaded by quarterback Drew Brees. Since they can not work out at the team facility in Metairie, the players will have to take their act to Tulane. The majority of the team is expected to take part in the workouts, which will consist of conditioning and weight lifting.
