NASHVILLE, TN (WAFB) - LSU dropped another SEC series this weekend in Nashville, falling 10-1 to Vanderbilt on Saturday.
It was the second time the Tigers lost to the Commodores in 24 hours. LSU was defeated 11-3 on Friday.
Grayson Garvin and Will Clinard held the Tigers to six hits Saturday and just like Friday night, a big inning doomed LSU's chances.
Kevin Gausman touched up for a four-run 6th inning that blew the game open.
VU added three more in the seventh and two in the eighth to close out the scoring.
The Tigers' only run came home on a fielder's choice when Spencer Ware slid under the tag at home in the fourth inning to tie the score 1-1.
