Now that the long and very cold winter is over, many of us are ready to get outside. And there's no better place to begin your spring and summer season than "Live After Five."

The series kicks off Friday (April 1) in a brand new, but temporary, location. The concerts will take place in the AZ Young Park on 3rd Street, next to the Louisiana State Capitol.

The old location is undergoing a major overhaul, adding new walkways, landscaping and a permenant stage for hosting entertainment all year long. But the new, temporary location at the other end of 3rd Street will bring a fresh, new element to Baton Rouge's biggest free concert series.

Over the next eight weeks, you can enjoy everything from rock-n-roll to soul to swamp pop and country-western. "Live After Five" is a great family-friendly way to start your weekend and support your downtown.
