BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - All eyes at the LSU Pro Day were on cornerback Patrick Peterson to see if he would take part in any drills.
Unfortunately, he did not run the 40-yard dash or do any shuttle work, but did eventually take part in individual team workouts.
New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton and Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, both Super Bowl champions, were on hand.
However, it was new Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera who Peterson needs to worry about. Rivera and the Panthers hold the No. 1 overall pick in April's NFL Draft.
Peterson and Rivera had dinner Sunday night. Peterson indicated he thought the outing went really well.
Eleven other Tigers went through drills Monday.
Defensive back and special teams extraordinaire Daniel Graff had the fastest time in the 40-yard dash. He ran it in 4.54 seconds.
Running back Stevan Ridley ran the 40 in 4.7 seconds and did 21 bench reps.
Linebacker Kelvin Sheppard did the 3-cone drill in 7.20 seconds.
