INGREDIENTS
1.5 Tbsp Chili Powder
2.5 tsp Paprika
1.5 tsp Cumin
2.5 tsp Granulated Garlic
2.5 tsp Black Pepper
2.5 tsp Salt
2 lbs Fresh Pureed Tomatoes
1 lb Ground Beef Brisket
1 cup Diced Onions
2.5 tsp Ground Corn Flour
PROCEDURE
- On medium heat, saute diced onions in small stock pot until tender.
- Add ground beef brisket and all seasonings to pot. Break up ground beef while cooking until browned thoroughly.
- Mix in pureed tomatoes to ground beef.
- In a separate bowl, mix ground corn flour and a little water to make slurry. Add slurry to pot and simmer under low-medium heat, stirring occasionally for about fifteen minutes.
- Serve in a bowl topped with shredded cheese and a side of crackers!
