Osso Buco from The Little Village


1-3" Veal Shank
1 cup sliced carrots
1 chopped medium onion
2 stalks of celery
2 cups of white wine
salt and pepper to taste

  • Braise Veal in hot oil until brown on all sides
  • Then combine all other ingredients in a roasting pan and place Veal Shank on top of vegetables and cover.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 3 hours.
