Eyeballs (Halloween Deviled Eggs) from Young Chefs Academy


12 hard cooked eggs
1/3 cup mayonnaise
4 tsp. prepared mustard
1/4 cup drained sweet pickle relish
12 pimento_stuffed olives


  • Cut eggs lengthwise into halves; remove yolks.
  • Place yolks in a small bowl and mash with a fork.
  • Add mayonnaise, mustard and pickle relish.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Spoon filling into egg halves.
  • Garnish with olive halves to make eyeballs. Makes 12.
  • Note: To make extra scary bloodshot eyes, spoon ketchup into small resealable plastic food storage bags. Cut off  a very tiny corner of bag; drizzle over eggs.
