INGREDIENTS for Teriyaki Sauce:
6 oz. Pineapple Juice
1 cup Beef Broth
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1/4 pound Lt. Brown Sugar
1 tablespoon Honey
2 oz. Corn Starch
INGREDIENTS for Stir Fry:
1 tablespoon Olive Oil or Sesame Oil
6 each (peeled) Shrimp
Carrots (as needed)
Broccoli (as needed)
Bell peppers (as needed)
Celery (as needed)
Onions (as needed)
Creole Seasoning (to taste)
3 oz. Teriyaki Glaze
1 cup Cooked Rice
PROCEDURE
- For teriyaki sauce, bring all ingredients to a boil except cornstarch slurry. Boil for 2 minutes. Reduce heat and whi in slurry. Simmer for 3 minutes.
- In a wok or saute pan, heat olive oil and begin sauteing shrimp. When 50% done, add spice and all vegetables. Saute on high heat until vegetables sweat and begin to caramelize.
- Add teriyaki sauce and slightly reduce.
- Pour over heated rice and enjoy. Top with diced green onions, rice noodles, etc.
